Dustless HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum
Be sure your HEPA Vacuum is full unit certified! A lot of companies claim to have a HEPA vacuum, but many are not full unit certified. If an EPA inspector walks onto your job site, and your HEPA vacuum does not meet the standards, they can shut you down or slap you with a fine of up to $32,500. The HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum from Dustless Technologies is a full unit certified HEPA vacuum, and it provides many benefits you won't find in any other vacuum system. Check out the regular Dustless Wet/Dry Vacuum to see the impressive array of other features.
Extend HEPA filter life. The Wunderbag™ Micro Pre-filter greatly extends the life of the HEPA filter. It is an inexpensive disposable filter that captures the vast majority of the dirt and dust before it reaches the more expensive HEPA filter. In fact, the Wunderbag™ captures particles down to .5 micron. That's remarkably close to the HEPA filter that captures particles down to .3 micron. We highly recommend contractors use a Wunderbag™ in the HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum to extend the life of the more valuable HEPA filter.
The Dustless HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum gives you a distinct advantage by enabling you to switch from dry to wet operation without getting the valuable HEPA filter wet. A protective baffle/wall, inside the canister, protects the HEPA filter from water. The Wunderbag™ also retains its strength when wet, which is a big advantage when switching between dry and wet operation.
Meet EPA guidelines for lead paint removal in renovation projects. The Dustless HEPA Wet/Dry Vacuum is ideal for renovation contractors who have to comply with EPA regulations covering lead paint removal. The EPA specifies the use of a carpet head with a beater bar, so be sure to order the optional HEPA Head Floor Tool. Its beater bar is powered by the air flow of the vacuum.

Filter replacement intervals:The Wunderbag™ is capable of holding MORE than 40 LB of fine dust, but the vacuum is designed to be emptied at 80 lbs. so that at least half of the filter bag's surface area is always free to support the high airflow rates required for effective dust control. The Wunderbag™ should be replaced whenever the vacuum collects 40 lbs. of dust, or when it appears to be half full. It should be replaced after being used for wet vacuuming so the interior of the vacuum does not become moldy. It does retain its strength when wet, so it is not imperative to do it right away.
The HEPA filter's life can be greatly extended with the use of a Wunderbag™. The Wunderbag™ captures particles down to .5 micron, meaning that it captures 99% of the dust, leaving only the smallest particles for the HEPA filter. How often you change it is a factor of how often you use it. Change it whenever you can see a distinct visible color change of the white folded filter material inside the cartridge.
The HEPA cover filter also captures dust down to .5 micron, providing a second layer of very effective filtration to protect, and extend the life of the HEPA filter. This filter should be replaced when it changes color and no longer looks white.
