Storgard II Indianmeal Moth Traps
Storgard II Indianmeal Moth Traps
The Storgard monitoring system for Indianmeal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) is a cost effecive method of detecting moth activity at the earliest possible stages. It utilizes a synthetic pheromone that simulates the natural lure female insects use to attract males for mating purposes. This lures adult Indian meal moths, and adults of several other insect species, into a specially designed trap that contains a sticky capture surface. Early detection of moth activity allows control measures to be employed before large quantities of stored food products are contaminated by larvae. In addition to the Indianmeal Moth, the pheromones also attract: Almond moths, Raisin moths, Tobacco moths & Mediteranean flour moths. Each kit contains enough materials for six weeks of continuous monitoring.
Each kit sold separately / 6 traps and 6 lures per kit
